Introduction
Welcome to Detect. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms," "T&C," "Ts&Cs," or "TOS") govern your access to and use of our website and digital content, as well as any services ("Services") provided by Detect ("Detect," "DetectAC," "Detect AC," "Detect Anti-Cheat," "us," "we," or "our").
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
The Detect Personal Plan and the Detect Enterprise Plan, collectively referred to as Plans, are considered Products under these Terms and Conditions. While these Products are a part of the Services we offer, they each require a Licence to be used.
A Licence is either a Personal Licence or an Enterprise Licence, as defined below:
A Personal Licence is a licence that is issued upon receipt of payment to an individual’s Detect Account for personal use only and in compliance with the terms set forth in these Terms and Conditions.
An Enterprise Licence is a licence that is issued upon receipt of payment to a Detect Account, for use in a manner consistent with the terms detailed in these Terms and Conditions and the specific Enterprise terms outlined in Section 4 of this document.
Licences for both Personal and Enterprise use can be purchased via our dedicated portal at https://detect.ac/purchase.
Detect reserves the right to make modifications to these Terms at any time. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly.
To use our Services, you must register with Detect and create an account ("Detect Account").
The use of the Detect Services is intended solely for individuals who are 16 years of age or older. If you are under the age of 16, you are not authorised to register for a Detect Account or to use any of the Services. By registering an account and agreeing to these Terms, you affirm that you are at least 16 years old.
Furthermore, if you are at least 16 years of age but under the age of 18, you affirm that you have obtained consent from your parent or guardian, who has read and agreed to these Terms on your behalf, before using our Services. It remains the express responsibility of parents and guardians to supervise their children's online activities, including monitoring their use of our Services and ensuring that use of the Services complies with these Terms.
We reserve the right, at any time, to verify the age and consent of our users. If it comes to our attention that an account is held by an individual under the age of 16, or an individual between the ages of 16 and 18 without proper parental or guardian consent, we will take appropriate measures to suspend access to the account and may permanently terminate the account without notice. Additionally, the personal information associated with such an account may be removed from our databases in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you also declare that you have the requisite capacity to comprehend, agree to, and adhere to these Terms and that you will faithfully abide by all of the Terms and Conditions outlined herein.
You are responsible for the security of your Detect account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. In case of any unauthorised use or breach of your account, you must inform us immediately.
Take necessary precautions to secure your password and do not share it with others. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account. Detect may require you to change your password if your account security is compromised.
Remember that online transmissions can be insecure. It is always possible that your information could be intercepted, even with encryption. Always protect your account details and promptly report any security concerns regarding your account.
You agree not to misuse the Services or help anyone else do so. Prohibited use includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Any misuse of the Services may result in immediate termination of your access and may subject you to legal action where deemed necessary by Detect. Adherence to these provisions is essential to maintain a secure and trustworthy environment for all users.
You are hereby granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Services strictly in accordance with these Terms. Sublicensing of the Services is prohibited without Detect’s express prior written consent. If you hold a valid Enterprise Plan licence, you may sublicense access to the Services to a number of Detect Accounts not exceeding the authorised number of users specified in your Enterprise Plan licence terms.
For example, if your Enterprise Plan licence permits usage for 5 Users, you may sublicense to 4 other individual Detect Accounts. Each sublicensed account under the Enterprise Plan must have an allocated lead single account, designated to an individual and is not to be shared among a group of people. As the Enterprise leader, you are responsible for ensuring that those to whom you sublicense Detect Accounts adhere to this provision and do not share their sublicensed account access with third parties.
We reserve the right to suspend, limit, or terminate indefinitely all associated sublicensed accounts in the event of suspected abuse or violation of these Terms. It is crucial that the privileges granted under an Enterprise Plan are used solely for the intended number of individual users, and any misuse may result in the revocation of licence privileges and further action as deemed necessary by Detect.
This Agreement is effective as soon as you access or use the Services and continues until it is terminated by either you or Detect. You may terminate this Agreement by closing your Detect Account. Detect may terminate this Agreement or your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause.
By purchasing a Product, or any future Products, from Detect, you agree that, unless in extreme circumstances, there are absolutely no returns, refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.
The digital nature of our Products, being software, means that it is impossible to return after purchase.
Extreme circumstances are defined as follows:
The Product does not work on the device for which it was purchased, and you have rejected the offer to repair the tool for your system.
Outside these defined extreme circumstances, under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you are entitled to request a refund within 14 days of payment as long as you have not waived your right to the 14-day cooling-off period by downloading our software. Once the software has been downloaded, your right to a refund is waived.
In the event that a customer initiates a chargeback or reversal of a payment made to Detect, such action will result in the immediate termination of the associated Detect Account and the indefinite revocation of any Licence(s) held by the customer. This measure is taken to protect our company against fraudulent payment disputes and to maintain the integrity of our Services.
Please note that approved Refunds or Cancellations issued under Section 6 of these Terms are not considered Chargebacks or Reversals. We distinguish between legitimately sanctioned returns of payment and contested payments that bypass our established refund protocol.
Customers are encouraged to contact our support team directly to resolve any issues related to payments before initiating a chargeback or reversal with their payment provider, as we strive to address and rectify legitimate concerns in accordance with our Terms. You can contact us through our Discord or https://detect.ac/discord.
Detect reserves the right to change the pricing of our Products at any time for any reason without prior warning. Such changes allow us to adapt to evolving market conditions, cost adjustments, and other business variables.
We commit to maintaining the price of a Detect Account's existing Licence throughout the duration of the current Licence term. If an account holder proactively renews their Licence before it lapses, they will be entitled to continue with the same price as per their previous agreement.
However, if there is any lapse in the Licence—meaning an account holder does not renew before the end of the current Licence term—they will be subject to the updated pricing at the time they choose to renew.
Further, we reserve the right to entirely remove a Plan or Product at our discretion. In such instances, we will endeavour to ensure ongoing functionality for existing Detect Accounts with the affected Licence. Should we be unable to maintain the functionality of a removed Plan or Product, affected account holders will be contacted and provided the option to cancel their Licence or to transition to an alternative Plan or Product at a discounted rate, assuming such an alternative is available.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy https://detect.ac/privacy for information on how we collect and use your data.

By using these links, you acknowledge that Detect is not liable for any loss or damage which may be incurred by you as a result of the availability of those external sites or resources, or as a result of any reliance placed by you on the completeness, accuracy, or existence of any content, advertising, products, or other materials on, or available from, such websites or resources.
If you decide to access any of the third-party websites linked to the Services, you do so entirely at your own risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for such websites. All content provided on Detect's website, digital platforms, and through the Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, as well as the compilation thereof, and any software used on the Services ("Content"), is the property of Detect or its suppliers and is protected by copyright laws.

Detect respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Services to do the same. In accordance with UK law and following the principles of the EU E-Commerce Directive, Detect operates a "Notice and Takedown" procedure for allegations of copyright infringement occurring on its platform.
If you are a copyright owner, or are authorised to act on behalf of one, and you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied and made accessible on the Service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, you may use this procedure to report the infringing material by submitting a written notice to Detect containing the following information:
Upon receipt of a valid notice, Detect will act promptly to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content and will take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material in question, giving them an opportunity to respond with counter-notification.
Please submit your Notice and Takedown request to the following email address:
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms. Such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.
The remaining parts of these Terms will continue to be valid and enforceable. The parties agree that any unenforceable provision will be replaced with a provision that is valid and enforceable and that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
No waiver by Detect of any term or condition set out in these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of Detect to assert a right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
A waiver of any right hereunder shall only be effective if it is in writing and signed by Detect. The waiver of any breach or default of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach or default and will not act to amend or negate the rights of the waiving party.
In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the provisions of these Terms and any other terms, policies, or guidelines published on the Services, the provisions of these Terms will prevail and be given precedence. Any conflicting terms may be reconciled by Detect at its sole discretion, and the reconciled version shall be binding on the parties hereto.
Where any specific terms, associated with any product, service, feature, or tool provided by Detect, expressly supersede or alter these general Terms, those specific terms shall take precedence in relation to your use of that product, service, feature, or tool to the extent of the inconsistency.
If the User is an employee of Detect subject to the employment laws of the United Kingdom, they are expressly exempt from these Terms. Nothing contained within these Terms shall affect or infringe upon the statutory employment rights of such employees as granted under UK law. Employee rights and obligations shall be governed by the terms of their individual employment contract and applicable UK legislation.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Detect, its directors, employees, and any third-party information providers to the Services from and against all losses, expenses, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from any violation of these Terms by you or any other person accessing the Services using your Detect Account.
This indemnification includes, without limitation, liability arising from your use or misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, any content you submit, post, or make available through the Services, and any claim that your actions caused harm to a third party. This indemnification will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Services.
Detect’s Services are designed to be compliant with applicable laws and regulations in the UK, but they may not be suitable for use in other jurisdictions. If you access or use the Services from outside the UK, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. It is your obligation to ensure that your use of Detect’s website and Services adheres to all laws and regulations of the jurisdiction from which you access them.
Keep in mind that the content available on Detect's Services may not be appropriate or available for use in certain countries, and we reserve the right to limit the availability of our Services to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction at any time, in accordance with local laws.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes can be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales or, if you reside in Scotland or Northern Ireland, to the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland, respectively.
