These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Detect website, software, digital content, and related services provided by Detect AC Ltd.
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
Detect offers Personal and Enterprise Plans. Each Plan requires a valid Licence to access the Services.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services. Users aged 16 or 17 must have parental or guardian consent.
You confirm that all information provided during registration is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.
The Services are offered for global use and may be accessed by users worldwide.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you are responsible for understanding and complying with any laws, regulations, or obligations applicable to you in your place of residence or use.
Detect operates from the United Kingdom and provides the Services in accordance with UK law. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under local law remain unaffected.
Detect reserves the right to restrict or limit access to the Services in specific regions where required to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
All activity conducted through your account is deemed to be authorised by you, including activity resulting from unauthorised access.
Account compromise does not constitute grounds for refunds, chargebacks, or reversal of enforcement actions.
You must not misuse the Services. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, reverse engineering, bypassing safeguards, assisting cheat development, self testing exploits, impersonation, harassment, automated access, interference with service integrity, or attempting to evade detection systems.
Violations may result in suspension or permanent banning without refund.
Licences are non exclusive, revocable, non transferable, and granted solely for use in accordance with these Terms.
Enterprise Licences permit sublicensing only to the extent expressly purchased and documented. Demonstration, resale, sharing, or pooling of licences remains prohibited unless explicitly authorised.
Detect may suspend or permanently ban accounts at its discretion for violations of these Terms or to protect the integrity of the Services.
Account bans do not automatically cancel active subscriptions.
Banned users remain responsible for cancelling any active subscription.
Certain Products are sold on a recurring subscription basis and renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date.
You are responsible for cancelling your subscription if you no longer wish to be billed. Cancellation is available via the Stripe customer billing portal or by contacting support with valid proof of purchase.
Detect relies on third party payment processors. Subscription renewals and licence key delivery may continue until cancellation is successfully completed.
If your account is banned, billing continues unless cancellation occurs. Continued billing following a ban does not constitute an error.
Detect may issue discretionary refunds in limited circumstances. Refund eligibility may vary depending on jurisdiction and applicable consumer law.
UK consumers have a statutory 14 day right to cancel digital purchases unless they expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge loss of that right.
For users outside the United Kingdom, statutory cancellation or refund rights may differ. You acknowledge that you are purchasing digital services from a UK based company governed by UK law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections applicable in your jurisdiction.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes rights that cannot be lawfully waived.
Fraudulent, abusive, or bad faith chargebacks constitute a breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and licence revocation.
Legitimate disputes should be raised with support before initiating a chargeback.
Prices may change for future purchases. Existing subscriptions retain their price for the current billing period.
Prices do not include local taxes, duties, or levies unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any applicable taxes imposed by your jurisdiction.
Personal data is handled in accordance with the Detect Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that personal data may be processed and stored in the United Kingdom or other countries where Detect or its service providers operate.
Where required, appropriate safeguards are implemented to protect international data transfers.
All software, systems, content, trademarks, and documentation are the exclusive property of Detect or its licensors.
No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Detect is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profits, data, or business interruption.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations of liability. Where such laws apply, these limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
These Terms are written in English. Any translations are provided for convenience only. In the event of inconsistency, the English version prevails.
